Unlike traditional sauces, this hot honey rub keeps the texture crispy while delivering a smoky, spicy-sweet punch.

This easy-to-make seasoning is perfect for wings, tenders, fries, and more. If you’ve been wondering how to make hot honey rub from Wingstop, this step-by-step guide will show you how to recreate the magic at home using simple ingredients.

      wingstop Hot Honey Rub

What is Wingstop Hot Honey Rub?

Wingstop hot honey rub is a dry seasoning blend that combines sweet honey powder, smoky paprika, and a spicy kick for a well-balanced flavor. Unlike a sticky wing sauce, this hot honey rub provides a crispy, flavorful coating that enhances texture without making food soggy.

Many people ask, what does hot honey rub taste like? The flavor is a perfect balance of smoky, sweet, and spicy, with a bold kick that lingers just enough without overwhelming your taste buds. This honey hot rub wingstop seasoning works not only for wings but also for fries, roasted meats, and even grilled vegetables.

      Ingredients

      • 2 tablespoons honey powder
      • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
      • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice level)
      • 1 teaspoon chili powder
      • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
      • ½ teaspoon onion powder
      • ½ teaspoon salt
      • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
      • ½ teaspoon brown sugar
      • ¼ teaspoon ground mustard (optional, adds depth)

      Kitchen Equipment Needed

      • Small mixing bowl
      • Whisk or spoon for blending spices
      • Airtight container for storage
      • Measuring spoons

How to Make Hot Honey Rub From Wingstop?

      Step 1:

In a small bowl, combine honey powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, brown sugar, and ground mustard. Stir well to ensure an even blend of spices.

      Step 2:

Taste the seasoning and adjust according to your preference. If you want more heat, add a little extra cayenne pepper. If you prefer a sweeter balance, increase the honey powder or brown sugar. Stir again to mix thoroughly.

      Step 3:

Transfer the hot honey rub to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place. This seasoning will stay fresh for up to three months.

Step 4 – How to Use Wingstop Hot Honey Rub on Wings

To use this Wingstop hot honey rub recipe, cook your wings using your preferred method—baking, frying, or air-frying. Once cooked, toss the hot wings with a small drizzle of melted butter or oil, then sprinkle the hot honey rub over them. Toss until fully coated, allowing the heat from the wings to bring out the flavors in the seasoning.

Some Tips for the Best Hot Honey Wings

      • Always coat wings while hot so the seasoning sticks better.
      • Use honey powder instead of liquid honey to maintain a crispy texture.
      • For an extra smoky taste, add a pinch of smoked salt to the rub.
      • If using on fries, sprinkle the seasoning immediately after cooking for the best flavor absorption.
      • Adjust the spice level by increasing or decreasing the cayenne pepper.

      How to Store Leftovers

      For the seasoning

Store any extra hot honey rub in an airtight spice jar in a cool, dry place for up to three months. Keeping it sealed properly prevents moisture from causing clumps.

      For seasoned wings

If you have leftover wingstop honey hot rub wings, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, place them in an air fryer or oven at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes to crisp them back up. Avoid microwaving, as it can soften the crispy coating.

      wingstop Hot Honey Rub

What to Eat with Hot Honey Wings?

      Crispy Fries

Togarashi Fries or sweet potato fries pair perfectly with hot honey rub wings. For extra flavor, sprinkle a little of the rub on top before serving.

      Cool Ranch Dip

A creamy ranch or blue cheese dip balances out the heat, adding a refreshing contrast to the honey hot rub wingstop seasoning.

      FAQ

Can I use liquid honey instead of honey powder?

No, honey powder is essential to keep the seasoning dry. Liquid honey can make the coating sticky and prevent the rub from adhering properly.

What if I don’t have honey powder?

You can substitute with extra brown sugar, but the overall flavor and texture will be slightly different.

How long does homemade hot honey rub last?

Stored in an airtight container, it will stay fresh for about three months.

Can I use this rub on other meats?

Yes, this Wingstop hot honey rub recipe also works well on chicken tenders, ribs, pork chops, and even roasted vegetables. You can easily adapt this flavorful rub to enhance your favorite dishes. For those who enjoy a fusion twist, try incorporating it into your honey walnut shrimp cooking instructions for a unique spin on a classic dish. The combination of sweetness and spice will elevate the overall taste and bring a delightful surprise to your meals. Whether you’re grilling, baking, or sautéing, this versatile rub is sure to impress!

How to Make Mexican Street Corn Casserole

              mexican street corn casserole recipe

Follow these easy steps to create the ultimate Mexican street corn casserole. With simple preparation and bold flavors, this dish will be ready in no time!

              Step 1:

Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray. This ensures the casserole doesn’t stick and is easy to serve.

              Step 2:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the following ingredients:

              • 4 cups of corn (fresh, frozen, or canned).
              • 1/2 cup sour cream.
              • 1/2 cup mayonnaise.
              • 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice.
              • 1 teaspoon chili powder.
              • 1/2 teaspoon paprika.
              • 1/2 cup crumbled queso fresco or shredded cheddar.
Add salt and pepper to taste, then mix everything together until well combined.

              Step 3:

Transfer the corn mixture into your prepared baking dish. Spread it out evenly using a spatula. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese evenly over the top for that irresistible golden crust.

              Step 4:

Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and lightly golden. Keep an eye on it in the final minutes to avoid overbaking.

              Step 5:

Once baked, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro, extra lime wedges, or diced jalapeños for added flavor and color. Serve immediately and enjoy the rich, tangy, and cheesy goodness!

              Some Tips!

To make the best Mexican street corn casserole, keep these tips in mind:

              1. Use the Right Corn: Grilled or charred corn adds a smoky depth of flavor that mimics traditional Elote. If using frozen or canned corn, ensure it’s thoroughly drained to avoid excess liquid.
              2. Customize the Spice Level: For a mild version, use less chili powder or paprika. To turn up the heat, add a pinch of cayenne or diced jalapeños.
              3. Get the Perfect Texture: Avoid overbaking to keep the casserole creamy. A golden, bubbly top indicates it’s ready.
              4. Make It Ahead: Assemble the casserole up to a day in advance, cover tightly, and refrigerate. Bake just before serving.

Pistachio Chicken https://manthatlooksgood.com/pistachio-chicken/ https://manthatlooksgood.com/pistachio-chicken/#comments Tue, 01 Apr 2025 14:30:09 +0000 https://manthatlooksgood.com/?p=4894 This is a delicious Pistachio Chicken dish you can enjoy as a special dinner with the family, just chicken mixed with pistachios and other seasonings, then baked to get that beautiful, crispy texture.

Mixing chicken with nuts is always a good idea to create new flavors with the tender taste of chicken. But have you ever tried it with pistachios? For me, it was a first, I’ve made chicken with almonds and other nuts before, but pistachios never crossed my mind until now.

The taste of pistachios adds a great flavor alongside the chicken and other seasonings. I used a light seasoning mix with garlic, onion, thyme, salt, and pepper. I thought about adding Tuscan seasoning, but I wanted the pistachio flavor to stand out. Of course, I also used breadcrumbs to give a nice crispy texture in the end.

For the cooking, I cooked the chicken a little in my pan and then baked it for 20 minutes, but you can bake it directly if you prefer.

This Pistachio Chicken dish is not hard to make at home and will take a maximum of 40 minutes. The flavors at the end will satisfy you, especially if you love the taste of nuts with meats.

If you want, you can serve your Pistachio Chicken with a Spinach Arugula Salad, as I did. It adds a nice green and refreshing taste to your dish.

              What is Pistachio Chicken?

Pistachio Chicken is a delicious crispy dish made with chicken breasts coated in a crunchy pistachio crust. This crust is made from chopped pistachios, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and a little garlic and thyme. You can cook it by baking or by cooking it in a pan first and then baking it like I did. The nutty pistachios make the dish crunchy and give it an unusual flavor that goes perfectly with the taste of other seasonings. Plus, it’s easy to make in about 40 minutes.

              Ingredients

              • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
              • 1 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
              • 1 cup breadcrumbs
              • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
              • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
              • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
              • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
              • Salt and pepper
              • 2 large eggs
              • 2 tablespoons olive oil

              Kitchen Equipment Needed

              • Meat mallet or rolling pin
              • Plastic wrap
              • Shallow dishes (for coating)
              • Large ovenproof skillet
              • Oven
              • Meat thermometer

              How to Make Pistachio Chicken?

              Step 1:

Start by turning on the oven to 375°F (190°C). Put the chicken between two pieces of plastic wrap and then tap it with a rolling pin until it’s flat, This is not necessary, sometimes I ignore this step.

              Step 2:

In a big bowl, mix the chopped pistachios, breadcrumbs, cheese, and seasonings like garlic, onion, thyme, salt, and pepper, or use any seasoning you like.

              Step 3:

In another bowl, crack the eggs and mix them up. This will make the nuts stick to the chicken.

              Step 4:

Now Dip the chicken in the egg mixture, then press it into the pistachio mix so it’s covered in nuts.

              Step 5:

Now you have two choices, you can bake the chicken directly in the oven or heat some oil in a big pan. Cook the chicken on each side and after that move it to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Enjoy.

              Some Tips!

              • Make sure to use fresh pistachios for the best flavor.
              • Place the pistachios in a plastic bag and crush them very well. This makes it easy to get the right texture or use a blender to chop the pistachios quickly, But be careful not to turn them into powder.
              • If you want to mix things up, you can try using different cheeses in the coating.
              • If you want, you can use chicken tenders instead of breasts. They cook faster and also taste so good with the Pistachio mix.

              How to Store Leftovers?

Put any leftover Pistachio Chicken in a container with a lid and keep it in the fridge. It will stay good for 2 days maximum. You can also keep it in the freezer for up to 1 month. When you’re ready to eat it, let it thaw in the fridge overnight and warm it up in the oven.

What to Eat with Pistachio Chicken?

The dish goes so well with green salads, but there are lots of other sides and drinks you can pair with it, Roasted vegetables or Creamy mashed potatoes are the best for me to pair as a side with this Pistachio Chicken, Also a simple pasta tossed in olive oil and herbs can be a great meal to eat with it. If you’re a true lover of pistachio, complete your meal with a pistachio shot for a fun, nutty treat, and enjoy a full meal packed with pistachio flavors.

Spring Roll Spicy Noodles https://manthatlooksgood.com/spring-roll-spicy-noodles/ https://manthatlooksgood.com/spring-roll-spicy-noodles/#respond Tue, 01 Apr 2025 14:22:12 +0000 https://manthatlooksgood.com/?p=4428 A crunchy and delicious Spring Roll Spicy Noodles filled with different textures to give you the best experience.

It’s been a while since I made an Asian roll recipe, and I keep hearing about Spring Roll Spicy Noodles. I looked online and found that each recipe is different from the others. Some people love filling them with spicy noodles, while others prefer adding spicy sauces and other ingredients to regular noodles. So you have so much option you can choose from.

So, I thought it would be a good idea to make them since it’s quick and easy. What makes my recipe a little bit different is that I fry the rolls. That’s right, After filling the rolls with the mixture, I fry them in a pan. This gives the rolls that deliciously crispy texture I was looking for.

The taste was exactly what I wanted from the beginning, crunchy and crispy, with a flavorful and spicy filling. But keep in mind that frying gives the rolls a delicious crunch, but it’s optional. You can skip the frying if you prefer, or even bake your rolls if you want.

What Is Spring Roll Spicy Noodles?

This is a regular Spring Roll but with a fun twist on the traditional filling, instead, We fill these rolls with Spicy noodles and some other classic ingredients, These Spring Roll Spicy Noodles are made by stuffing spring roll wrappers with a a mixture of cooked noodles, shredded carrots, sliced bell peppers, chopped cabbage, and green onions. The filling is seasoned with soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, garlic powder, and ginger powder, creating a spicy and tasty blend and then the rolls are fried to get that crispy, golden exterior that everybody loves.

How to Make Spring Roll Spicy Noodles?

              Step 1:

Mix the noodles, carrots, bell peppers, cabbage, and green onions in a big bowl. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Stir everything together. For added protein, you might want to grill some chicken to complement the vibrant veggie mix. Once the noodles and vegetables are well-coated in the sauce, top the dish with sliced grilled chicken, mimicking a Texas Roadhouse chicken recipe for that smoky flavor. Serve it warm, garnished with additional green onions and sesame seeds for an extra crunch.

              Step 2:

Put a spring roll wrapper flat on a clean surface. Place a little bit of the noodle mixture in the center of the wrapper, leaving space around the edges.

              Step 3:

Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling. Roll it up from the bottom to the top. Use a bit of beaten egg to seal the edges so they stay closed while cooking.

              Step 4:

Heat enough vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium and Carefully put the spring rolls in the hot oil. Fry them for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are crispy.

              Step 5:

              Some Tips!

              • You Also Bake the roll if you want, Both methods of baking and frying will give a crispy experience while you enjoy your rolls.

              How To store leftovers?

First, let your rolls cool down, and then put them in a sealed container. Keep the container in the fridge and eat the rolls within a maximum of 2 days. To make them crispy again, reheat them in a pan on the stove instead of using the microwave.

What to Eat with Spring Roll Spicy Noodles?

I love to pair these crispy Spring Roll Spicy Noodles with creamy dipping sauces like Mexico Chiquito Cheese Dip or Sonic Signature Sauce. Both sauces add the perfect touch of flavor that I love with these rolls. You can also enjoy them with a fresh salad of your choice, or with a cozy chicken soup. Also, fried rice can be a good combo if you want a full Asian meal to enjoy. As for drinks, a cold glass of iced tea works well for me to balance the spiciness of the rolls.

Chicken Milanese Brio Style Recipe https://manthatlooksgood.com/chicken-milanese-brio-style-recipe/ https://manthatlooksgood.com/chicken-milanese-brio-style-recipe/#comments Tue, 01 Apr 2025 14:19:02 +0000 https://manthatlooksgood.com/?p=4208 From time to time, I like to bring Italian cuisine to my dinner table since my family loves every Italian-style dish I’ve made before. This time, I prepared the Chicken Milanese Brio Style Recipe, a juicy dish with tender chicken and spaghetti in a delicious sauce.

I was inspired by the Chicken Milanese served at Brio restaurant, They served a plate featuring Romano-crusted chicken, fresh mozzarella, herb pasta, and marinara sauce.

My copycat recipe is similar but with a few changes. I used tomato sauce but didn’t add too much, as I prefer less sauce to avoid upsetting my stomach. My husband enjoyed the extra sauce on his plate, Also I made the chicken more crispy, as I like it that way.

For serving, I placed a little sauce with the chicken and spaghetti on separate sides of the plate. Unlike the classic Chicken Milanese Brio, which has a lot of sauce underneath the spaghetti with the chicken on top for a fancy presentation, my version is simpler and more practical for just enjoying at home with my family.

The taste of my copycat Chicken Milanese Brio Style Recipe was delicious. It’s a bit different from the version served at Brio, but it’s tasty and my whole family loves it.
